Marstrandsregattan 2013
Marstrandsregattan 2013 8-10 August, will be a new start for GKSS and "big-boat" sailing. The regatta will be sailed according to the Swedish respit system, SRS, and is open for boats with SRS 1.16 or higher.
The courses wil be upwind-downwind, with 3 scheduled races per day.
The regatta will start with registration and tune-up on wednesday August 7.
On thursday August 15, GKSS will arrange a race from Marstrand to Skärhamn, where the celebrations for the 50th anniversary for Tjörn Runt will start.
The regatta will also have a special Dragon class event, in memory of GKSS late president Peter Klock.
The registration for Marstrandsregattan will not open until the negotiations with Marstrand City concerning costs for mooring and other services are ready. The scheduled date for this is June 12.
