The GKSS marina consists of approximately 550 slips, most of which lie at fixed wooden docks with piles in the stern. The marina is protected by the 340-metre-long pier. We always raise the flag for our visiting guests, and we often have flags flying from all parts of the world. Many sailors use GKSS as a starting point for a trip up along the Göta Canal or out onto the Atlantic, or stay here while they visit Gothenburg before sailing in the lovely Bohuslän archipelago. Unoccupied slips for guest boats are marked with a green sign. During the summer high season (from the 3rd week of June to mid-August), the harbour master is at your service in his office in the tower visible in the marina. During the rest of the season, contact or visit GKSS’s office in the clubhouse.
Members of the royal yacht clubs KDY (Denmark), KNS (Norway), NJK (Finland) and KSSS receive a 50% discount on the harbour fee (not on laundry and other services) the first two days, after which they pay 100%. Proof of membership and ID must be shown to obtain this discount.
