There is a saying that “sailing is a way of life”, and we at GKSS couldn’t agree more. We therefore want to give everyone a chance to try sailing and discover the wonderful feeling of freedom it gives you. For this purpose we offer sailing courses in Långedrag as well as on the islands of Æolusön, Smögen and Bokenäs. The boats we use for these classes are Optimist, Topper Omega, Maxi 800 and J80. We give sailing cources to more than 1,200 pupils annually, children and young people as well as adults. GKSS’s ambition is to give everyone a chance to learn to sail, which means that all children and young people, regardless of disability, have an opportunity to participate. With adapted boats, specially trained instructors and expert assistance, GKSS aims to be an integrated sailing arena.
