"We thought we might need to cancel today's competion due to the wind, but right now we are pleased with three fantastic races in each class", says Robert Ohlsson. "Great big waves helped make this day a gorgeous racing day with wind between 7-12 m/s."
A general recall made most boats stay below the starting line. The sun came out between the waves. Clearblue skies most of the day at sea. A few volunteers went for a swim between the races. The anchor of the starting ship got stuck on the bottom of Marstrandsfjorden delaying the return into harbour for the volunteers.
Thanks to all sailors and volunteers for making this a week to remember.
Prize giving ceremony starting at 20:00 at Societetshuset. The regatta dinner starts right after. Tickets can still be bought at the Race Office for 350 SEK.
